off over to leeds in a bit,is it worth packing a new pair of boxer shorts■■?
it seems to be blowing west to east so the 62 shouldnt be too bad, the A1 and A19 was a nightmare an hour or so ago

i will be running back empty with a 15ft 7 tautliner…got unilever leeds twice tonight…2000 and 0200…
Get the load rejected on safety grounds.

What ho! My mates on his way down through there in a bit and I shall be heading up.
Fun all round eh.
haha the only chance ive got of not doing a double leeds tonight is if i get blown over on my first 1,even then they would probably get another unit to me to carry on
The M4 last night was ridiculous, I had to come back from Bristol to Hastings empty and there were trucks all over the place, not made any better by all the car drivers crawling along at 20mph so not only did you have to watch what all the trucks were doing but you had the occasional car stopping dead on the carriage way to contend with as well.
Nightmare.
The wind’s just starting to get up really bad here in the last hour-ish.
Are the storms moving up from the south?
I’m supposed to be hi-abing welfare units and container tommorow!!!
We’ll see…
Why don’t the authorities stop the movement of high sided vehicles when high winds are forecast?
They do it on bridges, why not on dangerous stretches of motorways and A roads

yes very scarey over there today i was blown all over the place
I passed over the little house at around 1130, as long as you don’t start writing a long post on here or updating Twitter or Facebook you’ll be ok
There’s a Luton van over 40-39 and we’ve just taken reports of another over 42-41, I haven’t stopped since coming on duty at 2!
I got an early finish today (7 hours and home at 2pm !), when i was home i heard sally traffic and everywhere sounded horrendous, to be honest though, locally we’ve missed everything again ! Just a bit windy in the Liverpool area !
Came across the 62 at about 6:30pm was windy on high ground up at little house on the prairie and at the open areas but not the worst I ever experienced on that road
No definately wasnt the worst…i went over about 7.30pm and wssnt bad at all…coming back over to deeside about 10pm and it had picked up again but by the time i got back up to leeds for my 0200 tip it had almost stopped
The wind is much worse in Lancashire, it must be all that tripe & faggots they eat
