How are you gonna get your Driver CPC?

I think its great, hopefully more drivers ■■■■ off thus meaning wages will go up. Supply and demand…

Not a chance. Remember all those who made a lot of noise about not getting a Digital Tachograph card and were going to pack in driving because it was a tax/travesty/not fair, even though it cost a mere 2 pence a day to continue to do an easy job and earn a decent amount? Where are they all now? Well, most of them are still driving.

I remember the furore when the first analogue tachos appeared in trucks on UK work in 1980, so drivers protesting at changes is nothing new.

Everybody was going to pack in driving because of the intrusive “spy in the cab.”

:bulb: Given that changes to JAUPT and the way this whole DCPC thing has been set-up are so obviously needed, I do find it a little surprising that this Govt. haven’t done something to change the arrangements made by the last lot.

You can call me cynical, but it’s not a bad earner for the Govt. so why would they change it?
