I knew a Hovis driver a few years back, he’s Brown Bread now though 
I’m the main bread-winner at home, never worked for Hovis though.
I used to trunk from Rotherham to Southampton Docks every
night for Rank Hovis but it was flour and I was on agency
working for DHL, who handled all the graded grains that made
the finer flour.
Driving for Hovis! Christ some people will anything to earn a crust.
Used to be on powder tanks there for 10 yrs at m/cr best paid job I’ve had left about 10yrs ago but went titsup when exel then dhl took over
Gotta do something to earn a crust and you might as well grab a slice if its there

I know they just lost the co-op contract so theres been some recent redundancies. If you have a local Allied Bakery depot id go there instead.
