Hi all,

My names Rob, I’m a filmmaker working with Essex Wildlife Trust on a historical video about The Hornchurch Country Park in Essex. Im interested to find out more about the site when it was a quarry in the 1970s and later a landfill site. I believe that Hoveringham ran this operation.

I am wondering if anyone here knows anything about this time and if you have any images of the site back then when it was a quarry or landfill?

I have spoken with Rikki and he’s given me the okay to ask.
