Yes, you can as long as you are finished by about 01:00 next Sunday to start your next weekly rest no more than 144 hours after you finish this one.
He’s looking at doing 7 shifts there though.
so aslong as i am starting my next weekly rest 144hrs after finishing what i do tonight???is this right or is it 144 hrs from now■■?

144 hours from now, when you end the weekly rest you are on at the moment, If you go into work and start at 01:00 then you would have to be finished before 01:00 next Sunday morning. Start at 01:30 and it would be 01:30 next Sunday.

That doesn’t matter.
I hope this helps.
For some reason I keep it in my head that you need your rest after 6 shifts and not 6 24 hr periods as is the case.
My rules suit me better so there
coffee i was hoping you would still be awake…just the answer i was looking for…its prob only going to be a rush job to a brewery…

Your rules suit me better these days although saying that I actually haven’t done more than 5 shifts in a week for about 8 months.
thats exactly why i asked the question…i wasnt 100% sure

Another 5 or 6 hours 'til my bedtime, you might have finished this short shift and be back home before I go to bed.

Just remember what time you start when you get in to work and make sure you are finished no later than that next Sunday morning and the job’s a good un.
Oh, and make sure you get at least 9 hours in between finishing this shift and starting again this evening obviously.
I do 6 one week and 4 the next between Telford and Bathgate and it suits me.
Are you working Neil, after all that ■■■■■■■■ you had?

That was satisfactorily resolved after a few days so I have been back in since the Thursday following the incident. No sign of the other fellow though.
Clarkyboy…sorry to tread on your thread but I reckon your sorted now and don’t believe anyone that say’s Coffee takes 10% of your extra earnings…It’s 20 .
Thats good then eh.
What other fellow? Your co-driver or the other wagon?

It’s on the house, still a couple of days left of my Hope This Helps January sale.

The guy in the office I had the row with. I thought that was the incident you were referring to. Still the same co-driver, his driving scares the crap out of me but I figure better the devil you know because apart from that everything else about him is okay.

That would be helpful.

I bet you frighten him more…I can see his face now as he’s lying on the bunk watching you type as you drive.
I don’t, I save that for when I’m the passenger, takes my mind off the impending disaster.
What time do you pass Charnock?
Our two posts seem to have got mixed and merged there somehow…Either that or I answered my own question and asked myself another one.
Talking to myself now
I pass Charnock anytime between midnight and 1,depending on the loadies.
