Hi all just quick question regarding 6 day working i did monday-friday last week then did a interview/assesment on saturday so digi was used for abt 50mins in all saturday so if work ask just gonna say helped a mate out in 7.5tonner or suttin, the query is im off on wednesday and in the saturday instead can i do overtime on wednesday or will it conflict with working two 6 day weeks on the bounce. thanks in advance for any replys. p.s i got the job but turned it down thanks

This is all about weekly rest periods…
Assuming you has a full weekly rest before doing the mon to fri + sat (50 mins) and that weekly rest counted for the previous week you worked -
If you had less than 45 hours off from finishing that 50 mins on sat to starting mon then that will be a reduced weekly rest and as long as you start a full weekly rest by 2359 this sunday then ok
If you did have a full 45 off from sat (50 mins) to mon then you can have a reduced this coming weekend

Not enough information, without knowing whether or not you had a 45 hour rest last weekend and what weekly rest you’re likely to have next weekend the question can’t be answered.

Hi all to give you some more information i clocked off friday the 28th at 14:00 then back in at 5:30 monday the 1st that gave me 63hours 30 mins rest then did full week monday to friday and 50 mins drivin and 1hour 10 interview on the staurday just gone. I want to do a full 6 days this week but will back in next monday with a day off in the week and the sunday off, is this legal.
The job i turned down was with mcburneys alot of hours for not much pay if ii had been about another £40-£50 more a week i would of taken it thanks for replys

Assuming that the 63 hour weekly rest period could count for last week (week ending 7/10/12 ) then you could do 6 days this week but you will need to start a regular weekly rest period of at-least 45 hours no later than 23:59 21/10/12 (Sunday after next).

Opps sorry ment, i think should be made illegel to work 6 day weeks every week in the job. I know some will disagree but i find i cant rest properly if i work lots of saturdays in a row even if it is only for a few hours.
