Right I am currently on job and knock 45 hours a week over 5 days but regularly do 50 hours or more with no overtime unless on my 6th day of work then get time and half.
Have been offered a job hourly paid, the current driver does 10 hours a day so averages 50 hours a week which would pay the same as current job. However no o/t is available.
So my predicament is this stick with the job and knock and regular wage or go with the hourly job and hedge my bets on 50 hour week.

if it was me (speaking from a non drivers role) id speak to the guy currently driving and see what he seems to be doing per week… i was talking to a tanker driver who came into the yard with us and he took a job with another firm for less money (belive it or not) but he says hes happier in his work and isent looking for an excuse not to go into work.
