Which one do you work for?

None if I can help it.
Overpriced unhealthy foods at all of them.
Overpriced drinks too.
Parking stinks like ■■■■ and I’d rather leave my kids with the McCanns or Jimmy Saville than trust the “security”.

Hospitality…

hospitality
/hɒspɪˈtalɪti/
noun
noun: hospitality

the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

synonyms: friendliness, hospitableness, welcome, warm reception, helpfulness, neighbourliness, warmth, warm-heartedness, kindness, kind-heartedness, congeniality, geniality, sociability, conviviality, cordiality, amicability, amenability, generosity, liberality, bountifulness, open-handedness

The complete opposite of every single word listed above is my experience of MSAs.

I don’t pick one because it’s Welcome Freak, Roadshaft or Moto (Move Onto Other Services). I stop at the first one I come across, use the facility, wipe my bottom, dispose properly of my baby-wipes, wash my hands and get back in the lorry.

Wherever there is McDonalds (mostly at Welcome break, I think? - bonus pts for the Costa although I rarely use it

Do I prefer to stop at Moto, welcome break or roadchef?

No

The ones with a Greggs on site, the only franchise that sees a penny of my money.

As Juddian says, Greggs for coffee.
Also any of em for bog and a shower, only.

Other than that I avoid all of the ■■■■ holes like I would an evening’s lecture on politics with Carryfast and Winseer . .

No idea as i try not to fight for the last space in any. Non of them welcome trucks although a couple have semi decent parking, but thats across the entire country.

Btw, I would report yourself to HR or the school head of year for diversity training as using “guys”, you’ve excluded around 20 different genders of drivers and at this rate we might have to have a collective strike. :open_mouth:

Fav - “Extra” services and Tebay.

Only use them if I want KFC.

Welcome Break , fleet Services southbound on the M3 is the only one I have used regular in the last five years. The Harry Ramsdens breakfast is not a bad price (especially if you have the parking meal voucher for £10 two £5.00 vouchers) as the voucher can be split so you pay just £1.60 for breakfast.

The only thing I use any of them for is toilets, somewhere away from the road to park for 45 minutes and to buy a “newspaper” (OK, a scandal sheet - but it keeps me amused for the aforementioned 45 minutes). I have no idea of the brands/operators behind the ones I have used.

But as it happens, only today I stopped at Toddington Northbound - only because I had a “new” driver with me and in the absence of him being able to plan a working day, he insisted on stopping at an M&S Food outlet.

While I was there I bought a frothy coffee from the on-site Costa. Three Pounds thirty ■■■■■■■ nine!! I had to go and have a lie down in a darkened cab…

I use any for my 45 mins.just use which ever is handy at the time.
Never buy anything from them anyway.
Just park up head down then go.

none of the above as they are all the same kind of overpriced stinking ■■■■■■■■■■
id starve before my principals would drop enough to allow me to buy anything from them though now and again il weaken for a greggs or kfc,but never ever would i use the main services for food as siiar to airports the they are just overpriced ripoff pirates.

I used the showers at Sandbach n/b last week.
All brand new frontage on the building,.walk inside all modern lay out and new looking, into the toilets all clean, open the door into the driver’s showers, it was like a trip back to the 70s :open_mouth: … dingy, grubby, old plastic shower curtains, tap broken, a complete crap hole and an illustration as to how they look upon truck drivers. :imp:

Best thing in that situation is put a review on Tripadvisor. And Google, if more people did, might change if they keep getting more than usual negative customer feedback.

lots of people comment on a bakery, but few people mention the owner, only saying.

The Gregg’s in services are franchised, by the site owner, Moto , euro Garage, etc.

Any.
