Need several pictures so we can get a feel of it I’m afraid .

The worst lorry I’ve ever driven was also a puddle jumping Iveco on a 55 plate, limping for Warburtons. The 51 plate Isuzu we used to own where I work now was a better truck to drive. :open_mouth:

Years n years ago (mid 80s) I started out in a 7.5t Flatbed D series, followed by an 7.5t Flatbed Iveco.

Bloody thing was horrible in the wet/empty, it just locked up, even if you were only thinking about braking. I defected it & defected it until the cows came home, all they said was that it was a load sensor issue !!!

Because it was my Old Mans Company & it was only bad in the wet, I reluctantly put up with it.
Best thing that happened to that wagon was when I blew it up on a motorway & it was off the road for 2 or 3 months, during which time I passed my Class 3/Rigid Test, so joined the ‘Big Boys’ [emoji57] with bigger bench seats for nights out. [emoji22]

(Oh, the good old days [emoji106])

My truck is in for mot, and I’ve booked the day off, so I don’t have to suffer the inconvenience of driving somebody else’s bag of spanners

I used to do exactly the same, book a weeks holiday at mot time. One man, one truck, always the best way for both the driver and truck.

Pete.
