Well today i got offered a class 1 job… and i dont even have my class 1 yet! Decided since i am.now finishing up on the farms tomorrow night that i would take the opportunity of an early finish to go around and see what i could find with local hauliers. Went to one that runs 20 odd trucks and hey presto… have a job. Tis only a temp job for 6 months or so but a jobs a job and its on bulkers and curtainsiders. Have my class 1 next week so hope i havent spoke to soon really. And with even more hope for the young newbs… im only 26 with no experiance in haulage at all…
So all it takes is getting out there and speaking to people face to face. You never know what will happen.
