As I was pootling along the M1/A64 heading for my first drop in York this morning I passed, and was subsequently repassed by a metallic grey van (sprinter or transit - can’t remember) of Yorkshire Curtainsider Services. At the top of o/s rear door, in large (at least 8") capital letters separated by full stops was the acronym for (written underneath in considerably smaller letters) Transport Workers And Tautliner Specialists…Honest, guv…made me laugh anyway
I work in IT and there are several we use reguarly, none of which would get passed the mods. However my favorite one has to be Failed Under Continuous Testing.
I am sure you can work it out
Oh the IT dept I used to work in was Turner Information Technology Services, I declined the offer of a shirt with a logo, they couldn’t understand why.
Yep Colingl…I once worked in computer retail and that was a favourite back then, of course the best was RTFM - I still use when someone asks something stupid (for the 25th time)
I see things like this often because words there don’t have the same meaning such as [zb] or [zb] on licence plates.
I often see trucks on I 90 with N.B.S transport on the back, next to the initials is a red circle with a red diagonal line through it over a black bull having a poop.
Sorry Pat! Edited for trying to beat the word censor. Bully
Just think, all us Brits are gifted, we understand their obscenities, but they don’t understand ours.
I slipped a word meaning “One who likes self abuse” in on theirs, doubt it will get moderated, it certainly slipped past their censor.
