Well that’s my truck homeless for the foreseeable. Anyone taking a load to Nobbies at Easton, don’t bother, it’s a smoking ruin. Upshot is that the phones aren’t working so I’m off to drink my bodyweight it cheap lager. Might get up around lunch time tommorrow methinks.

The last I was told there’s only a handfull of full time drivers left there,rest are agency,
The good news is there were no injuries, the bad news is that cheap lager is very gassy! I’ve had a text to say hang about and we’ll be contacted in due course. Lovely weather for it though.
Isn’t Easton the cold store, would have thought its chips & peas no? Unless they’ve been storing some Danish lager in there for the summer as well.

It’s not a name I’m familiar with tbh and I do know all the drivers names there (well, all the ones that aren’t a collection of z, x, w, and ski that is ) .are you sure he was at Easton? There are a couple of other depots of ours that run fridges nearby as it happens.
Blimey, I obviously just left before that started… I knew I should have stubbed that ■■■ end out instead of just flicking it into the cold store! (Joke!)
As the shunters disconnect the red airline when tipping, would you have simply dropped your trailer and pulled the unit out as the fire approached? Hmmm! Not sure about their H&S programme now!
And probably a break in the trips to Easton as well. Hope they’ve got plenty of space in Lowestoft!

Was in there this evening. Three hours to load one pallet which took me up to my max spread so now im parked about a mile up the road for the night. To make it worse, phoned the office and they’ve said don’t stick your card in til 1200 so it’s 17 boring hours sitting out in a***hole of nowhere
