Had to deliver to one of these the other day at felt ham , after circulating the R/o 3 times thinking well it was there last night on Google , the sat navs are saying it should be here twisted:
some bloke flagged me down and informed me there in the process of renamimg them bunnings and bunnings was actually Homebase , well it was Homebase but now bunnings , but apparently not all have been renamed ,
Sorry if it all sounds a bit confusing but after you get it explained to you it will make a lot more sense , just look for Homebase but bare in mind it might now be bunnings
It seems that all HomeBase stores will eventually be renamed Bunnings.
They look like this.
Christ on a bike!
Dozy in useful thread shock!
Cheers dozy for the top tip, I do homebase occasionally and knowing they are now a Bunnings (I’ll always read this as bummings though) is a great help.
Similar happened when Norbert’s Dressingtable changed to XPO.
Probably best if I don’t tell you what I call Koon & Nagle.
Knew about this mid last year they are an Australian company from what I know they are quite big over there
If you have bought anything a lot of there products have the name on the bottom this is why they have had big sale of the Homebase brand stuff
This is the point I confess I’m useless at DIY and haven’t been to homebase in years.

You’re right, they’re Oz based and part of Wesfarmers an even huger mob wot owns them and a few others. Usual story: undercut all the little hardware shops (iron mongers), when they’s all gone you had to start being careful with prices and quality of product. You’re lucky if you can find anyone to give a bit of decent advice and you can’t buy a few nails or screws, you have to take a indestructible plastic container of many times more than you need.
I hope they bring the Aussie tradition of having a hotdog (snags?) stall out the front of them all.
Other than that its nice to see dozy is still thicker than a whale omelette and having disasters every day.

I agree, stack it high sell it cheap, when in irony a lot of the stuff is of poor quality … gutted to see the name when I return to the UK.
To throw a spanner in the works, some of the branches B&Q shut last year have been acquired by Bunnings and reopened inc the one in Rotherham, which should keep the green army insurers busy as there’s several low bridges near that one

Oh yes, let’s hope they don’t try going down Aldwarke to get there, could be fun!
I thought DHL did the majority of the Homebase stuff anyway?

stobbies have got the contract now,DHL lost it,homebase drivers are apparently up in arms over it,no longer a cushy little number for them
I am still seeing DHL units with Homebase trailers, delivering to their stores, although the curtainside trailers have been debranded.
I do love a felt ham myself. Special occasions only though.

Most Homebaseandq stores (other rip off merchants are available ) already have Sam 'n Ella with a burger van in the car park.
Stick the sossidge sizzle where the sun don’t shine. Wot a bleeding rip off. $2.50 (might be more now) for one poxy sossidge, no butter and stand around in the even more sizzling sun to eat the bugger. I jeffin’ hate bunnings.
I thought homebase when into receivership last year?
I know they were at least closing a lot of stores down.
You would have thought most of that was pretty common knowledge and I’ve never delivered to them. But a quick Google on homebase would have confirmed they are now owned by Bunnings.
Go figure.
