Home made curry, freeze it, stick it in the fridge when you get to the truck and it will be ready when you’re parked up. Warm through in a pan then add some of that Uncle Ben’s instant rice. Once the rice softens its ready.

He did say he does’nt like curry…

So did I, but I found that by training myself I grew to like it.
I hope I never bump into Dipper! :open_mouth:

That’s put an image in my mind that terrifies me

It’s a bit like saying you hate fruit, there are all different types.
Chinese and Indian are completely different, Indian curries are all different themselves from very mild and bland, or very sweet to arse stinging unbearable hot, then there are the Thai curries that are different to anything else.
I personally am not keen on Chinese curry, but love a hot Indian curry with lots of chillis.
What have you tried to say you ‘hate’ it and please don’t say a generic curry from Holliies caff or somewhere.
Broaden your horizons mate and try some.

Make a big batch of bolognese or chili. Easy to reheat in a pan. Same with home made soup.

Fresh pasta and tubs of sauce from the supermarket are quick and easy.

I eat all my food cold it’s never really bothered me tbh just depends what Meal plan I’m doing.

Cook a couple of good filing soups, couple of slices of bread with it and bob is your uncle.

Use to make bolognese, but instead of mince, used pui lentils (dried they never go of and need only a short cooking time)
Cook pasta, stir a tin (or 2) tuna through it, some peas or kidney beans and if you like a chunk of feta cheese, season with pepper and oregano (dried)

Chill con carne, always a belly warmer, use mince or use put lentils, tin kidney beans, some peppers and chilis, pre boiled rice or pasta with it, and there you go,

Fry some chicken breast in a pan, add some vegetable, tin of coconut milk, little bit of chilli and a little bag of pre cooked noodles (Aldi do very good ones, they keep well outside the fridge)

And in emergency, you can always do a “Briner”, breakfast for dinner, keep a couple of boxes or a bag of Aldi’s granola spare, add some milk or Greek yoghurt and sorted.

Try to keep it simple, and in 1 put, the easier it is to cook, the least you are tempted to eat a heart attack on a plate of one of these kebab or burger vans.

I know we are nearing the end of summer, but I love to take a load of continental meats (Aldi has a good selection) and cheeses, black olives, some tortillas, pickled chillies and gherkins and a nice bottle of chilled Chardonnay and have a good old munch on some brilliant flavours, especially if you get some Austrian smoked cheese to go with the Italian and Spanish salamis and chorizo, throw a few wasabi peanuts in the mix or a few cashews and pistachios and you have yourself a real banquet with no heat required.

get an inverta slow cooker mince taties peas splash of lea perrins salt pepper etc to taste chuck it all in a start of shift occasional stir at each drop sorted for ya meal 6-8 hours later

I’ve thought about getting one of these myself. Crock pot do the best ones don’t they?

Easy meal anyone can make
Cook 600grams plain rice for about 10 -15 minutes
On the other hob using generous amount of olive oil toss in 1 or 2 onions 1 garlic a few chillies and 1 chrozio
once all is ready tossall in at the same time then add 100grams peas 200 grams prawns and about 2 cups of boiled water and wait for it to all dissolve add more if you need to.
Once this is done chuck a load of oil over it and you have about 3 meals and ingredients left over for the next day

Although not everyone of their recipes is suitable for incab cooking have a look at the “Proper Tasty” FB page(s) there’s some inspiring videos
