Yes b.waddy you correct , as a spotty faced apprentice mechanic with a company called James Bowen & Sons in Edinburgh who held duel Dodge / ERF dealerships , I can recall working on their Dodges when they were making deliveries in Scotland and needed repairs carried out . They had some Scottish based drivers who worked from home , one of who I recall was a Frenchman . One memory which has I will always remember which caused a great deal of fun among the apprentices most of who were aged 16/17 years was when a load of publications had to be transhipped by their drivers and among the load was the next weeks" ■■■-Bits" always considered a bit racy in its day , a few copies found their way into our hands via the drivers , who were all cockney character
s but a great crowd of drivers .
