I used to marshall on Nav rallies.
Did a few time controls but mostly passage controls.
Seen a few sights in the middle of nowhere at 3am.
And some amazing cars.
Did course closing car once. Now that was fun. We had the route already plotted. I was driving
I was Chief Marshal on Sheffield and Hallamshire’s Jackson road rally last October, and it was also great fun.
Best part about it was being at the finish before others, and getting breakfast first.

Expensive but rewarding…and no they weren’t drinking the beer!
In my Man Cave “Shed” that I built from scratch, still an on-going project
The devilment is looking out of that pairs eye’s. Double trouble there. Eddie,
I’ve no idea how to post pics ( I’ve only just joined) but pets keep me busy. A horse, dog, cat, ferrets. They take plenty of looking after…well, mucking out really. I’m like Edward Scissorhands but with shovels. I like cooking too, and baking, but I do less of that cos if I bake cakes I just want to eat them.
I like reading too, and murdering the banjo ( no, that’s not a euphemism)
I’ve a few hobbies, for one I like photography once upon a time I did it as a gcse at college when re-sitting my gcses paying for my lack of caring in my school days and in fact got the highest mark the college had seen in years…and all my work was truck based! Granted I spent every second of my free time in the computer room editing pictures or out at yards snapping pics so not many put as much time or effort into their work as much as i did. One of my proudest achievements considering I never put as much effort into anything else before etc.
I like a few like a good beer particularly Innis & Gunn being my craft beer of choice, always good to chill after a long day with a beer or two. With them bringing out limited edition varieties such as the latest malt whisky trail. I would say I’ve a collection of the different varieties they’ve brought out a little sad maybe but they hold memories which id like to keep.remembering so there you go
One last shift to go tonight so I’ll be having a beer or two Monday afternoon
Cheers
Jonny
