Hi all. Does anyone know where it is possible to hire a 3 seater unit for 1 month.

I have looked online but they all seem to be class 2 or just 2 seaters.

I need it for driving assessments.

You could look for a Ford D series, they had twin passenger seats :laughing:
or get a 2 seater and let the third sit on the bed, or better still, lie on it.

Or hire a Stralis. If you fold the bottom bunk into the dinner table setting, you get 2 seats plus the drivers seat. Probably not legal to do that but I cant think of a 3 seater tractor unit. :laughing:

Now i think about it, i seem to recall reading that Merc may have some Actros’s converted to 3 seats for their on road DCPC training. Weather they would hire one out or not is another thing.

I believe that Bartrums at Diss/Eye have such like for training.

Yodel have a MAN TGX (DA11 EVV) with a 3rd seat with seatbelt in the middle for assessment duties.
