Hino trucks emission problems

Have Hino trucks sorted out the emission problems on their heavy trucks and can they now sell them in u.k.?

And why would you want them…?

Same fate as toyota 2.0d4d. They both had a reputation for being thirsty as euro5 engines. They werent viable as euro6. Toyota use bmw engines now. hino where rumoured to be using steyr engines . All the hino men are buying renault and scania here now.

No sign of a new one yet, was meant to be here 2015.

A lot call Hino but they developed the system of cutting out cylinders when the power was not needed so that a six cylinder ran as a four when running empty but still using all six cylinders.

A lot of American cars use the same system.Common rail has made the system much cleaner and easier to programme into the vehicles operating system.

Crazy how they haven’t come up with something yet think of the millions not being made from sales.

Toyota group don’t leave things to customer led R&D finalising which we might be forgiven for thinking some other makers do, seeing the unreliable and no longer durable efforts they come up with now and again.

I have no doubt they won’t be sold here till they are well up to the job.
