From yesterdays Sunday Times, Hill Hire are up for sale for the princely sum of £300 million! Seems their owners (HBOS) want out having reportedly pulled out of asset finance, although the rumours had been circulating for months.
Wonder who’ll try and buy the business… could it be GE (TIP / TLS)?
