So the M25. Not only have they started putting the J11 closure in much earlier (sometime around 21:30) meaning there’s an hour of delays built up by 22:00 at night, they also decide to close the exit at Junction 6.
Not such a problem you think, especially as the matrix boards and the Highways England official app show this. But no, they went even one step further to absolutely ■■■■ up everyone’s night by also closing J7 without thinking about maybe informing anyone. This meant a diversion all the way round to either the A21 to turn around at Sevenoaks or carry on and turn around at J4. Nearly a 40 minute diversion. Had the information been there, many drivers could have simply left at J8 and come down through Reigate.
When will these government agencies get their ■■■■ together and start to be accountable for such stupid actions.
The lack of planning and information is a joke now (especially considering I actively check my route beforehand to ensure the ■■■■■■■■■■■ like last night doesn’t happen)

I know exactly what you mean though,mad a night driver myself I’ve given up on trying to plan a route because any logical alternative to the road closure they tell you about ends up being closed anyway.

Heaven only knows how much money…
Was spent on new matrix signals the size of a football penalty area. Yet they can’t put up a simple advisory notice on any of the one’s that really matter.

It’s getting to be a real problem, i scan the fitted pratnav for road closures for my journey before i leave early morning, not 100% reliable but invariably it works out, would be buggered without it.
Radio traffic report system is non existant before about 8am so no point in having your radio on and waiting.
Yet they want more goods shifted at night, typical British balls up, if there’s a way of demanding more but tying one hand behind your back first they’ll do it.
The people running our country must have been trained at the brewery which never managed a ■■■■ up.

Had a quick rant on Twitter last night (seems to be the only thing I do on there!)
The problem is the people who monitor it have little to no power and probably less enthusiasm to actually do anything about it.
All to easy to ignore serious points like mine when you’re not held to account.
