Well i am off to watch the CARS movie. MACK didnt need a map where he was going. He wanted to sleep with the other trucks but his boss would not let him !!
I love MATER as well
Yep, I see what you have done there, that’s clever! Cars that’s about your level of intelligence.
At least hes got a level of intelligence, unlike you you ■■■■■■■ pratt.
Im glad others have noticed (coffeeholic). You get down to the m6 toll and want to know say 2300hrs is m6 s/bound shut. But no they dont tell you so big delay and diversion all for nothing if you had been told on matrix or near useless traffic england website of m6 road closure to use m6 toll.
M6 toll. Scrap the toll free the road for all to use. As it is its the most underused road in UK.

Last night they had the signs displaying M6 Closed J8 from when we rejoined at 14 so that at least gave the choice to use the toll road.
I was up there not last night but night before and it was closed at Stoke, whole shebang southbound. I came past northbound and the full extent of the closure was dropping a few blobs of tarmac in the holes in lane 1. That was it. Are you kidding me■■? I’m sure it’s not hard to do 2 lanes 1 night and the other 2 the next, thus leaving the motorway open and not sending people on a lengthy tour of the countryside.
This “Mx CLOSED” BS has become far too common now. It’s every ■■■■■■■ night some major motorway is closed for some complete non-event. 10 years ago closing motorways was unheard of on a night time.
ESSENTIAL NIGHT-TIME CLOSURE OF M4O BETWEEN JUNCTIONS 9 AND 10
Both carriageways of the M40 will be closed between Junctions 9 and 10 in Oxfordshire on the night of Saturday, 28 April.
The closure will start at 11pm and last for approximately four hours while electricity cables over the motorway near Junction 10 are relocated. They need to be moved as the post supporting them is on the line of the new slip road being created as part of the A43 Towcester to M40 dualling scheme
Traffic will be diverted from the M40 J9 along the A34, then the B430 before rejoining the motorway at J10, and vice versa.
The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the travelling public. Drivers should allow extra time for their journeys.

I don’t even want to think about your definition of ‘bang to rights’. I suspect a degree of flexibility may be involved based on the bang on apart from 6 months above.

Yep, Diverted 3 times so far this week and due to be in place all week.
The diversion is easy and quick enough so I’ll stick with that, despite my co-driver wanting me to use the A50 to the M1 to avoid it and the closure at 8.
On Friday they are throwing M6 to M1 south closure into the mix so that’ll be 3 diversions for me, I might have to drive 4 hours in the shift at this rate and get close to the 20 hours a week limit.

Same as tonight so I used the toll. Was closed at j15 s/bound again no warning, added 15mins to my journey on A34.
Yep, but it was on the signs I passed. On the toll road now as it was saying J8 - J7 closed tonight rather than just closed at J8 so thought it might be longer diversion.
