As Italy gets in the way, it is definitely 4.0m

true! those tunnels theyve got are close to the mark.

France is 4.2 metres- Italy i think is only 4 metres but for your information my trailer runs at 4.13 metres & i have done Athens no problems, mind you the two 4 metre signed bridges between Patras & Athens are close calls :open_mouth:

this has been posted before and we have many trains of thought
i will just leave you with this, IF or WHEN you get stopped and checked
and they refuse to let you carry on because of being over the height
what will it have cost you along with any Fines, transfer of load fee,s
transport costs in another vehicle, plus possible loss of customer
""and yes lots say they run over height “”
well good luck to them but its 4.00m AND they do check especially
Germany & Austria for example plus if you need to run with the train
in D; A; or I the heights are strictly adhered to,ball is in your court,

But we can follow the higher trailers under bridges in France. If you look at many French trailers, they are capable at running at dual heights, 4.0 and 4.2. It is irrelevant in this thread but a French company who had bases in the UK, Belgium, Spain, Hungary and Romania would not have ordered 2 different types of trailer when one would suffice
