If not the air and electric lines would hold it

When I see photos like that it gives me more faith in the fifth wheel.

Something similar, …and ok, I know it was stupid and irresponsible and all the rest of it, but it was about 20 yrs ago.

I once went to Chirk to tip a chipliner, they had this set up tilting ramp thingy, where you backed on to the ramp, opened the back doors, chained the axles and the whole thing including the truck tipped up, and the sawdust came out the back doors.

My mate was out with me for the ride out and was asleep in the bunk  , I didn’t bother waking him and when the thing tipped up in the sky I phoned him up to wake him, ■■■■■■■ myself laughing  he was not too amused. (and must have got me back for it later, but I can’t remember.)

If I had done it today I would be banned off site or executed by the h&s Nazis .

Cargills at Hull docks used to tip grain bulkers like that (for all i know still do), more worrying was the vehicle just sat there and they told you to leave the parking brake OFF too ffs, always wondered if any lorry had jumped the ramps and what happened.

Not sure it is Photoshopped…

The crane driver might have thought in his haste that the little white scanny was a docks tug unit and thought he was lifting the container off the dock trailer, I’ve driven these gantry cranes and they are very quick at hoisting so maybe he wasn’t really paying attention.

This again? :unamused:

My brother was driving a tug on Felixstowe dock, the gantry crane lifted his box off but at a height of about 10 +/- it came unhooked and crashed back down on the trailer, he was off sick for quite some time.

And for once genuinely, he’s not like you lot :unamused:
