Did one of these yesterday. Was given a piece of laminated A4 paper saying it had been approved as an official “vulnerable” load. Police officers/VOSA ■■■■■■ me to the nearest secure area if stopping.
Does this actually happen if your pulled or what?
On the back of the card was only stop between depots if you run out of driving hours

So if you do run out of hours between depots. Do you leave the card in the window to officialy advertise the load to scumbags?
We had a similar rule at Ontime if carrying Prototypes, you could ignore the police and refuse to open the truck for customs without the customer being present
Either that or the Customs had to ■■■■■■ you to a secure area
Years ago I used to work on a 7.5 tonner doing loads of this nature and we had a card like that, it worked fine on the couple of occasions we were stopped and we were escorted to a police station both times.
I can just see me turning up at a police station in artic and trying to get in without getting in the way
.
As an aside, it made me smile when I pulled up, got booked in and was told by an oike in an office I’d have to wait on the road
. They soon let me in when I asked where their secure waiting area was
.

I had this with New Wave Logistics iin Milton Keynes. They made me park on the street with a lot of electronic equipment
for 4 hours. You can see the local scumbags driving up and down picking their target
