Original poster is a twit & scourge on real drivers. Grow up & grow a pair. It’s a-holes like you with your obsession with social media that is ruining the driving game & UK life in general. You have been beat down to toe the line & never question anything you’re told to do by ‘authority’, like a sheep. You will never amount to anything except the bloke no one can stand & avoids talking to. Please just shhhhhh

aye this brought a smile tae my face …you thought you are “the man” sitting at 70 and as you wrote some o Y&D and some o the strathaven crew passed you like you were parked at the moss.
Aye that’s the crew, along with the red motors from Newhouse and the blue motors for Musselburgh and as Munchkin said earlier you couldn’t have squeezed a ■■■ paper between them. If you seen it from a distance it probably looked like a huge Australian road train.
In my car on the A1 between Pontefract and Doncaster today. All lorries doing 60 mph,no convoys or queueing,no delays, everyone bowling along smoothly. What a pleasant change. It has always been my opinion that speed limiters cause more problems than they cure.Any poor drivers out there should be tackled by an active police force if we had one.

This with bells on.
Elephant racing/bunching ect, but the worst one taking longer to get there.Modern trucks even at 44t plus with all the advances in technology over the years can quite safely be driven at much higher speeds than the current daft limit . Remove the limiter and more gets done…

I’ve got mixed feelings on this.
I remember the pre limiter days, and on the face of it you’re probably right.
If driven in a safe professional way, not a problem.
However put in to the equation the many ■■■■ whits on the road today, who drive their truck as you would a car, who have not got time to stop for a ■■■■ so they can be …first in the queue or something, and not able to lose all of 10 seconds in their routinely over stressed day, with a modern 44 tonne truck with no limiter, …recipe for disaster I reckon.
I got me a regular Ben Hur doin 95 minimum

If I go down hill like that, in a truck or on my pushbike, I always go “Wheeeeeee.”Do u ‘hang yr legs out all gayly’ or do you lean over the handlebar stem, reducing the drag for an extra 2mph?
I lean forward like all the young lads did with their Yamaha fizzies.(must be on an old type sit-up and beg pushbike, it’s not the same if on a dropped bar racer.)
they love smuggling . if ever you are on the norwich road in ipswich town centre a foreign plate white truck is daily offloading cage loads that are Always wrapped in black shrinkwrapping- at the little russian foodshop . iv not ever seen black shrinkwrapping on cage goods .

That brings memories back
I swapped mine for a KTM with (swinging pedals) 1979 then progressed to a Z1B Kawasaki 900. Good in their day but some 650’s now would ■■■■ all over them
Oops thread change waffle

Hi All
Im on M40 west of High Wycombe on that large down hill slope 56 mph on cruise control when an Artic with foreign plates comes past me like I was standing still I guess he was close to 90 mph
I’m trying to find the video cam recording so I can put it out on media
I guess he took the truck out of gear at top of hill & built up speed
what a dangerous [zb]
Has anybody else come across this stunt?
I still cant believe anybody could be so stupid
