I drive a 26 ton flat and I am heading to Scotland via the A66 tomoro (mon), it was closed to high siders on Friday and there are more high winds forecast. Will I be turned back as “tichnically” I am not a high sided vehicle.■■? 
It normally depends on the severity. I was turned back with a tanker once although the copper was a jobsworth
