High/low point of 2011

Highest point getting the job im in now,i love it    The lowest has to be all the trucker deaths :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: too many.Hope 2012 is a lot better and safer :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

High for me was being able to spend a more time with my family , even though it meant traveling halfway up country…& yes they are definatley worth it
Low, was finding out yesterday that someone I know well has now got cancer of the mouth, only just got over cancer of the bowels a couple of years ago after op & extensive treatment :frowning:

In short, low point 1st Jan, high point 31st dec. Just hope 2012 is the other way round.

2011 didnt really have a low point more like steadily crap throughout! High point was passing C+E in October, going to do a refresher in an artic when i get some cash and try and get some work.

Low point for me was my youngest son suffering a mental breakdown. It’s heartbreaking to see some-one you love self-harming and taking overdoses to end it all.First two attempts were half-hearted,but the last one a couple of weeks ago ended up with him in ICU then high dependancy ward for five days. The human brain is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit,but when it goes wrong,it goes wrong big time.

I really feel sorry for my wife.I can’t afford not to go to work,so she is the one that has to deal with everything.

Hopefully,2012 will be a better year,as we have been told he will get a community psychiatric nurse on a one-to-one basis and regular visits by a psychiatrist and a psychologist.

Suppose a high point is that he is still with us.

No lows when you read what others have posted…
High definitly my son Callum born 18/3/11…nice to see he has the Paternal temper

Hiya lads… just reading some great things on this site is a high for me…no one has asked for more money!!!
some things seem so small but so big!!!.

Low points for me …no one knows how hard lorry driving is. a small amount of help can make a diffrence…
Iam retired now… its nice to know how happy us drivers are with so little…well done lads good health and happyness
have a good new year
John

low point. After1 and a half years, still working for DHL, mind numbingly boring, rules rules rules. Missing euro work like mad. On the other side, i have got a brand new XL Globetrotter and im only doing days.

high points …

low points …
