can anybody help went to doctors on monday to get more tablets doc took my blood pressure and it was high she then waited for a while took it again still a bit high. so she have know sign me off for 3 weeks can anybody help or got suggestion
had you had any booze the night before?
it was an old navy trick that if you had a medical for something you didnt want to do was to have a few drinks the night before (DONT get drunk though) and it raises your blood pressure for about 24 hours after you have stopped drinking.
go and see if they can do it again after not drinking for a while and see what it is then?
might be worth a shot…
White coat syndrome does it with me, the last time I had it it checked, they took me down the corridor in a wheelchair, let me sit for 10 minutes with the paper and then took it. It had dropped by about 40.

I know the feeling Malc, some hospital corridors are so unreasonably long that a taxi is sometimes needed to get you back to the ward.
