Do you need a hiab license if theres one on the lorry and you don’t use the hiab? Id imagine yes but just need to know for sure. Where do you stand with vosa on this?

You don’t actually need a HIAB licence to operate a HIAB its down to the company to prove competence with the HIAB but the HIAB ticket is the best way to prove this.

Nope. I’ve driven hiab equipped vehicles and don’t have any training or certificates.
I just didn’t operate the hiab.
if you use a hiab lorry type loader you need to show training has been taken if there is a problem and you use it with no training then both you and your company
