I was really worried about not checking my mirrors enough prior to my training, and that in a car I use the interior mirror incessantly, so thought this would be a BIG issue. But I was really surprised that on my training, as my only real issues with checking my mirrors was timing. I didn’t look for my interior mirror once, and always checked my nearside instead. It was almost freaky, so don’t stress too much over them. But as Radar and my instructor would say: Mirrors are vital to sucess, and always need to be on your mind!
