I was told in a RDC one night that if you’re wearing a Hiviz item of clothing and get hit on the road/pub car park/Greggs car park etc then there isn’t even an investigation, the driver is at fault and any decent blame/claim lawyer will get you a minimum of 3 squillion pounds. So mine stays on from leaving my house until getting home. Better to be safe

There is something very sad about a man who takes surreptitious pictures of men in Hi-Vis jackets because as far as I can tell it annoys him, why?, this has been going on for years on these forums, and I have never seen the point, I used to put mine on on entering the yard over my fleece, and just left it on till I was getting in my car to go home, why bother taking it off and putting it on all day, what is the problem? if you don’t want to wear one then don’t, if like me you could not care less whether it was on or off equally ok.
Nevermind a driver wearing one whilst he is at work ( nipping into a creggs for a pasty can be part of the working day) , but what the ■■■■ is up with ■■■■■■■■■ wearing a hi-viz in their car■■? WTF■■?

It’s pretty much become cool to single out hi viz wearers. I, like yourself, simply cannot be bothered to put it on and take it off all day long. In the summer when it’s really hot I will but unless the hi viz is bothering me I leave it on. And I don’t care what it looks like. I’m at work earning money with sweaty fat men, not on the pull in a night club.
