probably the same as you were in 2004 as wages don’t tend to go up every year.

Probably what they were earning then is the same as what they are earning now.
Depends who you worked for and how hard, anything from £30K to £55k gross, most company’s basic was a pittance, all bonus work.
Those on £45k or more did the work of 2 men most weeks unless they were fortunate enough to have ‘connections’ or work for two particular car maker linked companies, i won’t divulge their salaries or benefits you wouldn’t believe.
