Hi all. Im delivering waste wood to Eggers at Auchinleck tomoz. Ive been told there is a certain way imposed on hgvs. Im coming from in from m6 northbound. Any advice greatly appreciated
M74 /J12 Left on A71 Kilmarnock.
Carry on to ■■■■■■■ follow through to A76 right r/a towards A76 Kilmarnock, Ist r/a right for Auchinleck B7083.
Immeadiate right over rail bridge with traffic lights to T junction.
Half mile or so Eggers on right.
(Or A75 Dumfries, A76 to ■■■■■■■ then follow same route.)
A75 - A76 - Turn right at the roundabout for Auchinleck - Immediate right and over the bridge with traffic lights - Right at the end of the road on to Barony Road.
M74 J12 - A70 - Straight through the traffic lights in ■■■■■■■ - Right at the mini roundabout - Straight over the roundabout on to the A76 then same again.
Personally I’d go the 70.

Has to be the A70, from the Douglas road end. Simply take it easy over that road though! But an hour from the M74, and you’re there.

Where the finished product is loaded may not have changed but round in the log/chip yard where the fatality happened it is as Adonis said apparently, not been there for a while but an owner driver I know says he’d rather drop a load than go in there due to the delays

Comes as no surprise that you did that. Clever twunts like you are the reason that there’s crackdowns on everything and the wages are crap. Try doing it with 27 tonnes of chipboard on and see how your load looks by the time you get to the other end.
As for drivers and screwdrivers you are indeed one of the latter. Hard to call yourself a professional when you don’t abide by the rules. No other person in an actual profession in any other job breaks the rules and they’re certainly not bragging about it like its some major achievement like you do.

Done it with boards on countless times, never once had a load of boards shift on me. Done it with swinging too. I bet you’re one of the sad acts who crawls along there at 35, terrified because you’re off the motorway.
