HGV Warning Stickers

Does anyone know where I can buy those “please give this vehicle room at roundabouts”
Stickers that goldstar have on the rear of their skelly’s?

The RHA online shop is brilliant but they don’t have these which I need to complete my collection.

If you can’t find them on the net

Any good sign company wouldn’t have much of an issue making some up for you, vinyl, metal or even magnetic ones…

My stickers say “Micra drivers: The middle foot pedal is not the accelerator pedal.”
“Warning ladies, my trailer is a long one.”
"Warning.Vehicle equipped with RPG defence systems for Audi and Bmw drivers "

the kind of driver not giving you room at roundabouts is certainly not the type to be taking any notice of signs.

I rate these as affective as ‘now wash your hands’ :sunglasses:

But at least with a warning signs on the rear of a trailer, can’t say other drivers haven’t been warned … if they don’t give the room and you end up damaging a vehicle at a roundabout.then it falls under Driving without due care and attention or Driving without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other road users

Plus you could always inform your insurance company about the warning signs, coupled with a few photos … call it the ace card :grimacing:

Thats my opinion anyway…

was thinking for the front “get the f*ck out of my way”

Car driver - What lorry?.. The one in front of that bus… What bus?

My favourite truck sign used to be ‘No hand signals - driver eating Yorkie’. We often used to think - the chocolate bar or the small dog? :open_mouth:

I do however like those ‘how’s my driving signs’ with a phone number underneath. Especially when the trailer is wedged under a low bridge or buried in the side of someone’s house.

Have to be a flaming big sign if he wants it in English, Polish, Urdu, Latvian, insert language here etc :stuck_out_tongue:

Unless someone good on “paint” can do a simple pictorial sign, remembering cyclists are that thick :unamused: they cannot understand the basic “no entry” sign on the nearside and an “arrow” pointing to the offside of a truck.

Well at least you’ve tried to educate them is he way I look at it, if they still do something stupid then it ain’t on me.

It’s funny, in my near miss thread on the other forum there’s guys saying, “you over reacted, you could have stopped” aye, maybe if I’d have anchored & shot my load through me & in to her back doors…

It’s the most SCARED I’ve ever been in a truck.

so we get to the real culprit - insecure load

I’m sorry, I realise it was a terrible ordeal but I just couldn’t help myself :grimacing:

Yes Ive seen the other thread… ■■■■■■■ Micra driver… but look at it from a flip side if you hadn’t of reacted like you did, then its possible you would have rear ended the Micra, which would have rear ended the Mazda, possibly shed your load, closed the road / roundabout for hours… Seems what ever you do, everyone on here sits in judgement … maybe before casing a comment on the Video…they need to ask themselves what would they have done in your position… :open_mouth:

Hows my driving stickers are a waste of time

Saddo’s just phone that number because they haven’t got a life…and its all BS they come out with, lie upon lie with out any physical proof

Funny how ppl can drive and still take down a number and phone in whilst there still driving :unamused:

As seen on the back of foreign trailers : “Left hand driver.”

I worked for asda a long time ago and people in a certain area used to ring the number up with a load of bollox knowing they would get a hamper or some sort of gift as a way of saying sorry for the drivers bad driving, drivers used to get dragged on the carpet for nowt

Think that some idiot come up with the idea so that the companies traffic managers and store managers didn’t get abused by the general public over there crap drivers…

Don’t think it worked coz they still get abused by the customers :grimacing:
