Looking to do my HGV licence, passed medical and sent off all forms yesterday, I am wondering if there is any recommended training schools around north london area ■■
Also another question I eventually want to do my C+E, Can you do this straight off the back of passing cat C?
Hi mate, can’t help you with the first question as not my part of the world.
Second question, the answer is that you can start C+E training as soon as you get your full C licence back from DVLA as a full C acts as a provisional C+E, so about 3 weeks after you pass C.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve rung around a few schools just wanted some personal recommendations.
Thats good then I think I will go straight in for doing both as close to each other as I can. Lets just keep fingers crossed and hope I can find a job after passing.
You’ll get recommendations, but you’ll probably have to give it 24 hours, or better still until the weekend, obviously lots of people work away during the week. You’ll have time to do that, your provisional C licence will probably be three weeks coming back.
The standard advice wherever you are though is to avoid brokers at all costs and go direct to a driving school.
Work isn’t as easy to come by at the moment as it has been, I’m sure others will give advice on that front too.
Hi. Much as it grieves me to suggest another driving school!! Try Wallaces at Wembley and various other sites around London. They are a DSA Accredited Centre (very few in the country) and have a good reputation.

if you did not want to travel have a look at ep training in surrey seans a mbr on here and they have same W&D as Peter , and in my opinion cant go wrong with either of these companies as have been to both !

Thanks everyone, I’ve contacted a few to go there and scope them out see witch one I prefer. Just the dreaded wait for my provisional now, been practicing my theory most nights so quietly confident on that.
