Hello,
Just wondered if anyone has an opinion on where the easiest place to take their HGV test is■■?
I took my Hgv2 in Leighton Buzzard which was ok passed 2nd time though.
Took my Hgv1 in Enfield, London last year as that was the only available test centre at the time - Failed. Don’t ever want to do it there again though. I am looking to do it again this year once i have built up my confidence again.

Used to work at Exel for Argos Direct in Bedford.
Our driver assessor (who was also a fully certified LGV Instructor) had dealings with the examiners at Leighton Buzzard and he always said they were a top bunch of blokes.
He also spoke very highly of a small training company based out near Cardington IIRC. Cannot remember their name, but seem to remember their artic was a smart Volvo FH12.
Would not fancy taking any test at Enfield!!!
Don’t muck about - get straight on with passing that class 1!
Good luck!
Hello flying_fenman
Thanks for the reply. I done a bit of research on the training company nr. Cardington you mentioned and I think the company is called Wiseknight Driver Training Ltd. They got pics of a Volvo FH12 on their website as well. I am gonna give them a ring - need to get my class one as soon as poss. Thanks for the info…
If you follow the ‘test routes’ sticky - you can see all the pass rates for every DOT test centre in the country.
It does make interesting reading and some centre pass-rates are well under 50%
Hope this helps!

That’s them!!
My mate Neil at Argos used to reckon the guy who ran it was the poodle’s privates.
