I am a GP who is trying to set up a cheap, affordable and rapid access HGV/PCV medicals service. I plan to work from my private clinic (at home) or probably have mobile sessions in a truckers’ club or meeting point.
I would like advice on the following: 1. is there a need for this service or is the market saturated? 2. are there any truckers’ club or meeting places where I can hold regular sessions in South East England?
My apologies if this is not the kind of topic you would hope to see but I am sure this will be a good service for your members.

A lot on here have found that the price for a drivers medical from some GPs is very high - I’ve seen some at well over £150 but as you can see, if you click the link above, they can be had for as little as £30
A decent price would be at just under £50 IMO.
I’ve no idea how this might work but there is a large truckstop at Thurrock near the Dartford crossing and I’m thinking that it might be worth a look into…
LGV/PCV training schools are another avenue that you might wish to persue…
