Hiya…Do you know you never really loose your licence, well when your the magic age to have a rest.
if you let your licence go then maybe a couple of years pass and for some reason you need your lgv as
long as you do your medical you can get your ticket back. you might win the lottery and want a huge
motorhome and you need a ticket to drive it…i think you can let them lapse for 10 years and still get
them back.

Same here I will be 68 in jan but won’t be doing the CPC (already have a proper one)so I will defo finish in sept if not before,dr Singh at Rotherham did mine for the last three years,my own doctor wanted £110 Dr Singh £30 and very good medical, took the form back to my own medical centre and they stamped it with the practice stamp so what’s that all about,Dr Singh mobile 07976 810786

Company I worked for paid the 1st £60 and drivers paid the difference.
Retired at 65 held my licence til it ran out, just in case I needed abit extra to suppliment my pension, but never had the need in the end never bothered to renew it.
Now at 67 I couldn`t be arsed to do the CPC course even if I still had my licence.
Retire and enjoy it,leave it to the youngsters.
