Hgv/lgv medical round exeter area

Hi guys will i want to do my C class which is the old class 2 but i need to get my medical done for me to get my provisional HGV/LGV license. Can anyone tell me any good places i can go to.Thanks

Nearest “cheap” one to you is at

A serious suggestion though is go to your own doctor for peace of mind. He may be a bit more expensive but he will know your medical history and do a more thorough check!!!

Just go to your Doctor mate. Thats what I did. It only takes about 10mins. Who are you doing your training with? I used Steve Robertson who are on Marsh Barton. Couldnt fault them one bit. Their training is first class and they are really easy to get on with. I passed first time.

Hope all goes well for you. Chris

I can add to that recommendation.

I’ve been to Steve’s place at Marsh Barton to run a classroom course for them, so I was there for a few days.

They’re a very professional set-up with good facilities and they’re very good at what they do.

+1. Took my C test with them (at their old Pinhoe site).

I went with Doctors on Wheels. 50 quid.

It depends really if you just want the boxes ticked or are looking for a thorough check.

As said above. Your own doctor knows your history and can give you a more thorough check and be more accurate with filling the form. But sometimes this costs.

Best of luck.
