Evening lads. My truck’s(6x2) insurance is due to be renewed at the end of next week, now t/gate have offered me a renewal price £4100 for the truck + £1200 for GIT. That’s with 1 years NCB and on any drivers over 25. Any comments on the price? Anyone know who to go to for cheaper quotes?

Sounds very steep, mine used to be a shade over 3k including PLI and GIT and any driver over 25 (with the usual 2 years experience rule). That was with Giles Insurance, give them a try.

I’d get some more prices. Try c&c insurance on 0161 4064800, I’ve used them for years. I’ve got a fleet policy but I’m paying a lot less than that per 44 tonner.
Seems expensive to me but towergate renewals are!

Yes that expensive i am around £3900 all in based on truck £65000 + trailer git is £400 and inc public liability
