Anyone know if there’s a Hgv suitable garage around Buckingham on the A421 please. In parked in a village near Bicester and was planning in going up the A43 in morning but its closed northbound between M40 and Brackley. Alternative route is to go 4421 to Buckingham then 421 onto the 508 for Northampton.

Opp tescos on main road always was a truck stop / filling area. I think it was a Total last time I passed.
If your goin up the a43 to the a421 then the Esso at the roundabout before the a421 turn off has got HGV pumps I think
If heading towards M Keynes, the 2nd from last roundabout (east side) London Road is off to the left and the right, go right, it is signposted Superstore and Services at the roundabout, once you have turned off there, there is a garage on your left that HGVs can get into no problem, and opposite the garage is free parking for (if parked well) around 10 motors, on the other side of the road is a24hr Tesco.
From Buckingham A421, you need to take the (A413 for 1 mile)then the A422 (Milton Keynes North/Towcester (A5), follow the signs)
If you stay on the A421, you will be in ‘Roundabout Heaven’. 
Once you leave Buckingham & through the Wiggly Bits (great on a bike) there’s a long straight just before Deanshanger (approx’ 3-4 miles from Buckingham) There’s a Murco Garage on the left with HGV Pumps. After that just go straight over the next 2 roundabouts & you will be on the A508 for Northampton (south & east, Brackmills or Round Spinney).
Or you can do a left at the big A5 Roundabout (about a mile & a half from the Murco Garage) go through Towcester, then right at the roundabout onto the A43 (brings you out at Rothersthorpe/J15a/Swan Valley/Rip off for parking, industrial estate 
)
Depends where in Northampton you need to be & how the motorway is ‘Playing’ today
