Come on lads, it wasnt a mistake, he just thought, F this I’m going. I’ve done it myself but I call a spade a spade.
Exactly Silver Surfer.I am glad some realises the reality. It was blatant and totally out of order. We all know the difficulty of getting a loaded wagon onto a busy roundabout but that type of driving is totally uncalled for.
It amazes me how many think it was a mistake and how some admit to doing the same.
No wonder we get a bad name.
You didn’t notice the part where I admitted to doing the same type of thing then on a strictly necessary basis of course with a cheeky truckers wave thrown in as a way of apology.
What he did here (truck driver) was a mistake. There is no way of competing with that point of view as he entered a roundabout while not giving way to his right. It was a dangerous move as it was a near miss accident, but in all honesty your title description has a pre-conception of your motives.
Ploughing through a roundabout and pulling out on a roundabout are two entirely different scenarios. One might suggest if you are going to use your dashcam to video such events you at least title them respective to the content they contain.

+1, your headline is misleading. Dont let the daily mail see this, you will find yourself being followed and given a job.
I did notice it was video number 200 & something as well, so perhaps his motives are just born from an interest in Anoraks which is fair enough as I sport a rather fetching number myself in British racing green with a fur lined hood BUT on the other hand the OP may just be a troll although as we haven’t heard from him since, my money’s on the former.
He could do with toning down the title though.

Eh? If you read back in the comments I’ve made, I was actually very interested in finding out, trying to understand and to work together by learning how trucks operate, etc.
What’s wrong with that? Your comment is a bit uncalled for.
Also, please see my comment posted on Wed Mar 19, 2014 9:47am where I thanked everyone for their replies. Did you see that? How does it make me a troll?
I think it has been a good thread all in all ‘tsutton’ and it was handy to read the views of someone not in the industry. You will find that the lack of respect you have been shown by some is pretty normal for this Forum. While a lot of people know and share a lot of information, some lack the basic respect for anyone. … It probably shows in their driving style too…
