Perhaps we could have some news stories that say things like "Convicted xxxx was a Tory-voting mickey mouse expenses claimant" - and put the boot on the other foot.

Friend of mine sent some goods back to 2 companies from his house, and one of the items has gone missing but the 2 catalogues he deals with, won’t accept responsibility and he can’t remember which is which.
So who delivers on behalf of New Look and Littlewoods?

It’s the media, they make most of this ■■■■ up just feel like they’ve got some facts, much like the church shootings the other week were reported as ‘a white man has shot dead a number of black people’, the white or black was irrelevant and wouldn’t have been mentioned if it had been the same skin colour or even the other way round, it just stirs up emotions.
Being ex army and now lorry driver I’ve read the story out to the wife, doesn’t do any harm to give them something to think about.

It’s relevant to the story as, from the police statement on the case, they’re showing how key evidence was gained from his vehicle cameras to trace his movements. If the reference to his occupation had not been made, it would have seemed a little odd.
