HGV driver bashing, as usual

I don’t know how many TN users are on Linked In (it’s pretty rubbish in my opinion) but someone posted on the new National Highways campaign to encourage car drivers not to sit in our blind spots
nationalhighways.co.uk/road-saf … mpaign=HGV

Which rapidly turned into the usual car drivers complaining about “too many HGVs on the road”
Wasn’t that during covid when the shops were all empty!
EDIT removed link as it might have featured someone else’s account details

Yawn

What is the difference between a HGV and an LGV?

The term LGV or Light Commercial Goods Vehicle described vehicles that had a gross weight of under 3500kg. The term HGV described anything with over 3500kg gross vehicle weight. This type of classification made it easier for people to tell the difference between LGV and HGVs based on their size.

That probably helps more.

Funny enough that just came up on my fb feed, had a quick read of the comments, wtf are these people on ffs!!!

No it doesn’t.
LGV changed from light to large back in 1992 because of the EU.

P.s. don’t Google LGV, you’ll get a horrible ■■■■■■■■ transmitted disease.
