Politely told they were non-essentialI. Nov 5 was very subdued. Saw a few rockets. Usualy a big deal in these parts. Will Christmas be legal? Lots of kids and oldies usualy fill the House. Do we stay 2 metres apart for auld lang syne? Will there be street parties for Br-day or for Cov-day. Should I keep the emergency locker topped up or will my two bog rolls see me out. Now that Donald has gone, I’m going to take a risk and dump the iodine pills. Maybe its all a bad dream.
Quiet Nov 5th?
Not round here it wasn’t, lots of garden fireworks, plus even more on the green outside our cul-de-sac of houses. It was like that scene from from Band of Brothers when they’re getting blown to smithereens at Bastogne.
In fact, since there weren’t any organized displays, I was more aware of fireworks this year that I have been for many years.
