hgv,, adr kits

anyone know where i can but hgv ADR kits at a reasonable price■■?
thanks :stuck_out_tongue:

Last place I worked at, the boss bought a load from the RHA catalogue, that was 5 years ago but i’m sure if there’s been any legislation changes they’ll be up to date. Seemed to have everything you’d need though and decent quality.

goggles, apron, gloves, drain pluggers, torch that works, flashing beacons for breakdowns, pvc suit for chemicals.

I thought it was warning triangles for breakdowns? Might be worth dropping Dieseldave a pm if you want the 100% correct answer, he’s the ADR Oracle

yeah theres loads of stuff even welly boots two fire extingushers etc etc etc

Thought it was supposed to be supplied by the employer PPE

But Dave will be able to say for sure

You could try Arco

arco.co.uk/

We get pretty much everything we need from them, if they have no kits they will have all the bits you need, sold individualy.

Your PPE depends on what you are carrying, rubber gloves may work for some chemicals, but PVC are much better  Minimum is gloves, goggles, boots. Hi-viz EN471 vest.

You need instructions in writing, The carrier must supply PPE and the (IIW)

Vehicles must be equipped with at least one chock, two warning signs, reflective cones or flashing lamps.

The vehicle must be equipped with a means of clearing or preventing a spillage entering pits, drains or watercourses.

Fire extinguishers, torch for each crew member,

Anyone carrying Toxic gas must carry a respirator.

Dave will be along to correct me and add more later, he is busy today :stuck_out_tongue:
