I used to drive a left ■■■■■■ in this country, but found that by judicious use of the mirrors and constant observation of what was happening around me, I didn’t have any collisions. On motorways I kept a longer separation distance.

- I’d like to know how many UK registered HGV’s were involved in accidents.
- What is the % of polish trucks operating here vs the other countries? If there’s 10,000 here vs 1000 German ones then the results are misleading
Read the same report in the Times with regard to the overweight vehicles a lot will over weight on the pin rather than running around at 45T so maybe not the major problem as described. The Times also had an expert say that he thought if UK registered lorries were all to be checked then the failure rate would be the same which to be fair I do find hard to believe
