Wouldn’t surprise me if they did have some double manned runs, due to poor access at some shops meaning heavy cages have to be dragged a distance.
Probably like our place it’s just specific stores as stated above.

could also be that some routes need to max the driving and by MM the vehicle can be moving delivering almost non stop the whole shift
Sportsdirect do it, all runs were double manned but they cut back and not many are now even if you have to drag cages for miles
