Saw this in my local paper and thought it deserved sharing on here…Good job.
Yep, top fella.
So thats the reason the Collets truck was parked on its own when all the other trapped traffic had been allowed past, i thought he must have been involved in the accident when i saw him parked there but this explains it, top man, takes some balls to get that close to a fire
Top Man with guts, very courageous , very well done.
Well done that man.
I’d like to see his 250 ton tractor unit though. That must use some fuel.
Good to know there`s still blokes out there made of the right stuff. Deserves recognition for his bravery.
Had a chuckle at the typo, though!

It’s probably an 8-leg MAN STGO3 unit which will be plated for 250t.
Top man, but “He drives a 250-tonne heavy tractor unit, a MAN 40-tonne vehicle”. I’m confused
Good on him.
Absolutely courageous, i heard that T/Net was arranging a ceremony to congratulate the driver and award him with a little metal badge in recognition of his bravery Maybe the parent company Commercial Motor would like to feature this driver on one of its pages.
A total hero…
what bravery, its also good that his boss says how proud

it will weigh 40 ton on its own, the 250 ton is the gross running weight
