Peculiar phrasing in the news report: “a rogue HGV slid down a slope”. Probably says more about the level of journalism that the event itself.

Sad news indeed. A wagon driver died on the M6 Northbound at Wigan yesterday too.

RIP both.

Horrible accident, but not totally surprised theres an accident of this nature at these kinds of depots. The one at Bradford always looks horrific with no space to move.

Seems they go on about H&S like you get a warning for not wearing a hi-vis, but ignore the real problems like trucks being far too close to each other.

Obviously don’t know if he could gave gotten out the way - hopefully didn’t see it coming.

The accident apparently occurred whilst a “warehouse” worker was using a trailer tug (kind of like a big battery powered pallet truck). Very sad news indeed.
